Still Water is an adopted son to Raven and Oat. Gifted to the Jagged Cliff pack as a sign of peace by a neighboring pack, Still Water was 1 1/2 months old when he started out life in his new home. Out of the other young pups in training, Still Water was the strongest and, despite his name, most combative. He was always tussling with the other pups and desperately eager to learn fighting moves so he could one day win a battle with a grizzly bear. After a fight with a goose, Raven had a talk with her son about being cautious of his opponents, and not diving into fights straight away. Still Water has immense respect for his parents, but especially his mother.
As Still Water graduated into adolescence and adulthood, he quickly learned the skill of finishing off prey. He's very proud of his hunting abilities, but doesn't brag. He takes a liking to the younger Silver Husk, who has very similar skills, but a little more patience and a little less eagerness.
When Still Water met his adopted son, Luxury, for the first time, he instantly fell in love. He made it his main goal in life to be a great father to Luxury, just as Oat was to Still Water. And he was, although Luxury still was a mother's boy. Still Water couldn't blame him--Rain Cloud was such a gentle, caring wolf. And she was close friends with Raven, having both similar personalities and skill with handling pups.
