Grew up on a very rocky mountain range, became strong and wise due to the tough lifestyle. Some who knew Shaswa and her family said that they were no finer mountain climbers than the Shadestone pack. They were a strong, healthy, and respected pack, but they were also very close-minded and stuck to their way of life. Change and freedom were discouraged. It was a secure lifestyle, but for Shaswa it was simply boring.
While growing up her parents told and retold the legend of Uma-Yidi, the Son of the Moon, who would restore the practice of the ancient Kohtru religion. She had just barely reached adulthood when she heard of his return, but she knew she had to leave her home immediately and find Uma-Yidi. She knew in her heart that she needed to be a part of this revolution. She tried to convince her parents and siblings to join her on the journey, but none were willing and she left alone to start a new life.
Always plagued by wanderlust, Shaswa knew she had to become a Seeker for the pack.
Shaswa is a close friend of Alpha Dahuma and his mate Ashawgi. She has an ongoing rivalry with Guguru, and never misses an opportunity to pull a prank on him.

Spring Y1, Age 2: Joined the Blackmoon Rising pack after hearing that Uma-Yidi had arrived. Quickly became friends with Dahuma. Became a Scout. Gave birth to 4 pups, sired by Dahuma. Ended the season at level 7.
Summer Y1, Age 2-3: Mushu asked her to become his mate but she turned him down because she hardly knew him. Despite the rejection, the two became friends. Ended the season at level 10.
Autumn Y1, Age 3: Was badly wounded while scouting the swamp. Healed by Ashawgi. Ended the season at level 11.
Winter Y1, Age 3: Ended the season at level 13.
Spring Y2, Age 3: Was badly wounded while scouting. Healed by Ashawgi. Gave birth to a litter of four pups, sired by Alpha Dahuma. Ended the season at level 13.
Summer Y2, Age 3-4: Ended the season at level 14.
Autumn Y2, Age 4: Completed her term as a Gamma Seeker. Became a Guardian. Ended the season at level 15.
Winter Y2, Age 4: Ended the season at level 15.
Spring Y3, Age 4: Ended the season at level 15.
Summer Y3, Age 4-5: Took a break from guarding pups to explore the lands and find a breeding mate. Ended the season at level 15.
Autumn Y3, Age 5: Mourned the death of Mushu. Gave birth to a litter of four pups, sired by an outside male. Mourned the death of Guguru.

"They're true. I can feel it in my heart."

"They -- they bore me, mother! I don't give a damn about tradition!"
