Dante came to these lands with his mate, Vergil. The two grew up in a pack together, and Vergil's father exiled Dante, blaming him for his son's lack of interest in mates. Dante left and Vergil didn't hesitate to follow. When Vergil's father tried to attack the two Dante was quick to counter, breaking the older wolf's leg with a harsh bite. The two became close and when Dante asked Vergil to be his mate he happily agreed.
They wondered until they came across Tala. The wolf invited the two into the lands she called home and helped them start their pack. They introduced the two to a she-wolf named Beatrice and Dante quickly fell in love. Having Vergil as a mate Dante didn't act on his feelings, but Vergil was an observant wolf and after some time had passed called Dante out on his feelings.
Dante came clean, not wanting to hide anything from his mate and repeatedly apologized. Dante assured Vergil that he was still in love with him, but he had never held back on having multiple lovers. Knowing this Vergil told him, as long as Beatrice was interested he wouldn't mind sharing his mate.
Dante had went to Beatrice later that night, asking her to be his mate. She angrily refused, and Dante went on to explain that Vergil didn't mind a polyamorous relationship, as long as she was fine with it as well.
Beatrice went to go talk to Vergil to get confirmation, and later on agreed.
When Beatrice and Vergil became mates Dante was ecstatic, happy to see his two loves get along.
