From the moment this strange she-wolf opened her eyes, she was watching... Everything.

It wasn't long until the Healers began to notice the pup talking to herself, or staring at things that weren't there. It seemed that, being one of Oryn's pups, she had what the Pack called Star-walking - the ability to interact with the Spirit World, something those of the Sheer Cliffs reserved solely for Healers, believed to be gifted from Spirits themselves.

Unknown to the Pack, the current Healer, Hail, lacked the ability to Star-walk. He had never had the ability, something his aging mentor had never noticed until too late, leaving the Pack without a Spiritual Guide of any sort. When the Pack had begun to Split, before River's death, Hail's secret had been found out, along with that of Peach - a hunter who possessed the ability, and had been helping him. The two would secretly trade jobs - Peach asking the spirits for help, while Hail would hunt for her - for seasons, under the Pack's nose. This only helped further divide the Pack, as Hail was River's son...


Seeing another wolf with the ability, the two immediately began training the young pup...
