Cress

He's the son of Fire and Othar, a wolf from another pack, and the brother of Spruce, Katniss, and Oakley. He's the stalker of the Southstar hunting party. He's the mate of Meave.

Having started to reach their elderly years, Luna and Rowan had begun seriously discussing who should be their replacements once they retired. After a lengthy debate, they announced they had chosen Cress to take over both positions. Rowan would retire first, allowing Cress to take up the mantle of stud. He would then continue his current duties as the stalker of the Southstar hunting party, and train his replacement, then he would take over as the pack leader once Luna joined the ancestors.

After a long life, Luna had finally joined the ancestors. She was the one who created the pack and now it was up to Cress to guide it. He took the mantle at the age of three years and ten months old. He took the position with a heavy heart. He had not yet been able to find a proper candidate to take over his hunting duties among the new pups and asked Cassia to take it temporarily. His new reign was met with far worse troubles though. Overnight, catastrophe struck. Several packs raised the alarm of incoming storms, draughts, and worse. This was his first test as the new leader. He informed Fire that they would need all the medicine she could make, and he told Howlite and Oakley to scout all nearby areas for any news or dangers.
