Pup of Jay and Kitcha, he is spoiled at the wrong time. Due to the drought and tough times, he never saw his mother that much, but his father being the pup-sitter was always there so they have a much deeper bond. . . even if it's more like a trainer and student than father-son. He always strives to get their attention but they are always busy so all he has is his brother Carl. He loves his brother but he blames himself for Carls' injury since Walter was the one who told carl to Jump across the rocks with him.
As an adult, Walter wanted to be a Finisher but his lenient body was more fit as a chaser which he didn't mind but his brother took his favorite role, but what did bother him was that he did a horrible job at it. Walter started to hang out with the chasers ( which are mostly female ) and to impress them he would trash on his brother. One day they got into a fight and their mother was Furious at Walter for attacking his brother. She punished him while Carl got more attention and even got private training with Kitcha. He was angered and holds resentment toward his brother.
