During the lesson: Finally, after many trials and failed attempts that made other pups burst with laughter, Ula let out a proper, long howl! Still somewhat high-pitched, but it couldn't be mistaken for anything else other than a growing, strong wolf.
During the lesson: Vulir had a feather attached to the end of his tail, and raced through a clearing with Ula close behind. She couldn't quite catch him yet, but she got close enough to feel the feather tickle her nose before Vulir pulled farther ahead.
During the lesson: Today the lesson included effective snarling, biting at the air with extra loose saliva, and pretend-biting each other's faces while making as many awkward gurgling noises as possible. Apparently this really makes other animals tremble in fear!
During the lesson: Ula learned today how to avoid conflict by asking questions first rather than imply solutions. This made packmates feel included in decision making, which strengthened the bond of the entire pack.
{Lunar}Ula brings you a gift. It's a nice gesture, but when they begin explaining that giving such things makes a good pack member, you start to wonder if it's more duty than a gesture of good will.
