When Lizard first joined the Goose Pup Pack he was still just a gangly teenager. The stunning adolescent had caught Wildfire's eye while he was out and about and he couldn't help but bring the young lad home. Though the older pup showed no aptitude for survival, Wildfire decided that with all of the extra hunters around they could spare the den space. The pack leader saw something in the pup, a deep compassion born from struggle, and even if he never blossomed into an adventurer, the Goose Pup Pack could always use another paw wrangling pups.
