Year 7
. Tjai slipped in, almost unnoticed, as the newest member of the main pack. He made friends with ease, and was readily accepted as a trainee hunter.
. After an incident with Bleydh in the sub-pack, Tjai becomes a temporary scout, training his senses to become a hunter for the pack.
. Tjai's good humour is infectious, but he is closest to the younger generation wolves, preferring to spend his time with Houran, Kanaat, Baak, Heau, and Sa'jaath.
. When they're off hunting, he amuses himself by swapping stories with Yierrit. Sometimes Ta'ie'ou, or Sa'outh and Um-un-un from the back-up party, will listen in, encouraging Tjai (who loves an audience) to act out scenes from his tales with much enthusiasm.
Name means: "Tjai" is the wolf word for comedian, storyteller. As a name it gives the impression of cleverness and distinction. Literally: Unusual and determined to be humourous or good-natured.
"vahi" is a way of saying from somewhere else, it is the wolf word for home. Literally: all encompassing, lively/living, but only a little precise (i.e. hard to define).
"Suva" is the outskirts of swamp-land, where Tjai came from. Literally: Looks pretty, gullible, all-encompassing, full of life. It gives the impression of being deceptively dangerous.
