Silver Husk was found as a pup, cold and abandoned next to a stream by Oat, the leader of the Jagged Cliff pack. His mother had left him for dead, and Oat decided to take in the small bundle of fur. During the time of Silver Husk's pup training, many lone wolves visited the Jagged Cliff pack to get a taste of the life inside a group. One of those wolves was named Shadow--a tall, lithe wolf who taught Silver Husk all he knew about hunting. The crow-colored male eventually decided to leave, though. He did not like life inside of a pack, saying it was "too busy." Silver Husk was very sad about this, and when Shadow asked if he'd like to join him on his wanderings, Silver Husk almost said yes. But Silver Husk had grown close to his packmates--the charming Alyona who taught him how to have patience, the leader Oat, who was Silver Husk's caring father figure, and the sweet Rain Cloud who kept him safe during his first days in the pack.
So, Silver Husk stayed and wished Shadow well on his journey. A part of Silver Husk had felt broken inside, wondering if Shadow would miss him as much as he would miss Shadow--or as much as Silver Husk missed his absent mother.
Oat was always there for Silver Husk as they both grew older, even teaching him a few battle moves based on strength. They'd often go on walks together throughout the territory during the evening, talking about life and expressing their thoughts. Silver Husk came to know Oat very well, and gives him a lot of credit for Silver Husk's hunting skill.
Now, Silver Husk can be a bit of a bully--but most of his harshness and crude laughter is a mask to cover up his deep sadness he struggles with daily: did his mother ever love him? If she did, would she have abandoned him? Silver Husk is a very troubled wolf, but still manages to keep going every day, making sure to be there for his new mate, Alyona, during her pregnancy.
