Luxury

Luxury was adopted by Still Water and Rain Cloud. He was too young during that time to remember much about his life before the Jagged Cliff pack, but he doesn't really care. He is happy with his life as it is.

Luxury was a witty, yet aloof young pup. He preferred to do things on his own, but for the sake of his future independence he had to rely on the older wolves to teach him the skills he needed to maintain his place in the pack.

He practiced his howling with Rain Cloud quite often, but unfortunately for him, his howling voice wasn't as pretty as his mother's. Though he excelled greatly in his training with Jupiter, the pack Herbalist, there was no room for a second healer, so he instead decided on becoming a hunter--more specifically, a stalker. His gentleness with not crushing leaves in Jupiter's cave turned out to be useful during the fall seasons, when leaves were crunchy and loud. He's either one of, or the best, stalkers in the pack.

Even as Luxury entered adulthood, he still spent plenty of time with his mother, Rain Cloud. They both had the same calm personality, and Luxury quite enjoyed her presence. They'd sit in silence by the pond as the sun would set, watching the energetic Still Water jump into the not-so-still-water and scare the fish away, or go on walks and stalk sparrows. Still Water and his father still have fun, though. They often go hunting together, making a very efficient team catching prey for the pack.


"Luxury was confused when he could catch the same scent in several spots, but Jupiter's smirk explained it all. It was one of those tricky lessons and Luxury did everything to prove he was smart enough to track prey effectively.

Luxury had a hard time distinguishing between nearly identical berries. In his opinion it was impossible to make such a decision as quickly as Jupiter wanted, but he explained that paying attention to detail was a must for an herbalist.

With the carcass tied to a straw string, Oat pulled it to simulate prey movement. Luxury stalked and pounced on the "prey" successfully, and began to tear it apart before he was scolded to be more precise and not let food go to waste."
