Nothing brings two wolves together more than an unexpected gift. ☽ Sirion ☾ happily drops something at your paws, greeting you with a short, friendly lick.
Sirion was born into the Redfeather Pack to one of its most well established and respected bloodlines. His mother, Wing, was an accomplished hunter and a well-liked she-wolf throughout the pack. The golden she-wolf's family was her life, and Sirion felt that love throughout his puppyhood and adolescence. He trained with Wing and his siblings each day, and over time became a great hunter for the Redfeather Pack.
When he wasn't hunting he was spending time with his family, including his cousins, Arnfinn and young Wytt who was the alpha's daughter. All too often he would allow himself to be dragged into some mischief by the young golden she-pup, and he knew all too well that one day something would go awry. Of course, one day it actually did, and Wytt was partially blinded by a badger she had run headlong into before Sirion could yank her back away from danger. Anahera had been distraught. Her howls of anger and distress had carried throughout the hollow when Wytt had come running awkwardly back into the hollow with her eyes clouded and bloodied.
Sirion had felt awful, and resolved to continue to teach Wytt to be a hunter since the incident had been partially his fault. Of course, he recruited his best buddy, Arnfinn, to help in this matter, since he had no idea what he was doing on his own and his cousin was a magnificent hunter himself. Eventually the three of them figured out what worked and how the young she-wolf would have to adjust in order to still become a hunter. The three cousins grew quite close over the course of this quest, and together they got Wytt onto a hunting team when she became a full pack member.
This cooperation made the trio the perfect team to keep the peace, collect secrets and cause chaos for the Cereus wolves when the pack was taken over, and they did so with as much joy as a group of young wolves can summon when their pack is taken over by strangers. Sirion also recruited his good hunter friend, Nilou for this endeavor, and ironically enough it got her promoted to lead hunter. Well, Sirion wasn't going to protest. She deserved it.
Now, Sirion and his merry band of hunters and cousins spend their time doing much the same as they've always done. Go hunting, cause a little mischief, do some more hunting. Swim in the river. And he wouldn't have it any other way.

Sirion savored the feeling of the warm stones under his paws as he crossed the riverbank to join Nilou. She had been injured hunting, and was now enjoying some recovery time while Arnfinn and Wytt splashed in the river with some of her pups. The big brown and grey wolf settled in next to his friend and dropped a freshly caught rabbit at her paws.
"Bit of a snack to help with the healing?" He nudged her playfully but gently as she appraised the rabbit.
She looked at him thoughtfully for a moment and then smiled, "what would I do without you, hm?" She touched her nose gently to his and tucked into the rabbit hungrily.
Sirion gazed out at his cousins and Nilou's pups playing in the shining water and then smiled back at his friend, "you're always taking care of us, so I figured the least I can do is a bit of the same while you're hurt. This is a family right here, after all," he gestured to the wolves in the water.
Nilou scooched in closer to him, their flanks pressing together as the sun went down and the cool breeze blew by, "I never had a family like this, you know. I'm glad the three of you are here."
Sirion rested his head on his paws and flicked his ears, "yeah. I know you are. Me, too."
