You can see the sparks of joy in ☼ Arnfinn ☼'s eyes when they ask you to go over to them. They have prepared a little surprise for you as a reminder that you're special to them.
Arnfinn sighed wearily as he sunk into his old place in the thicket. His sleeping place was still there, if a little disheveled from the scuffle, but after the past couple of years of complete chaos had been avenged it was just the thing. For now it was perfect. As he settled in, his cousins, Wytt and Sirion, came to join him. They snuggled into their old spaces in a pile of fur and satisfied smiles. It was difficult to believe that just yesterday this hollow had been under the control of Borealis and his invaders from the East.
"Hey, cousin?" Sirion mumbled through what was most likely a mouthful of Wytt's twitchy tail, "let's never be a part of a spy network or an uprising again, shall we?"
Arnfinn had to let out a bark of laughter at that, making his bruised ribs hurt and the laugh end in a little cough of accomplished pain, "I'd say that sounds like a plan to me. What do you say, W-"
A snore cut him off mid question and he supposed that would make a good enough answer. The three young wolves eventually all nodded off as the rest of the pack began to rebuild and clear out the hollow around them. They didn't much care, they had done their part by spying from within the chaos for two years. They had earned a nap.

Arnfinn was born of a necessity for good strong hunters. His father was Áleifr, the Redfeather alpha, and his mother was the scout Raalia. As the breeding male as well as the alpha at the time, Áleifr decided that the pack could do with a hunter as strong as he and as shrewd as Raalia, and she agreed. Thus, Arnfinn came into the Redfeather Pack. He spent his youth training with the best Redfeather hunters to become an accomplished chaser. He learned from his father as well, gaining a unique perspective on leadership that can only come from being the son of the alpha.
His adolescence was filled with hunting and pelting through the forest after this and that with his cousin and closest friend, Sirion. The two were inseparable all throughout their training, and when they became full members of the pack and were assigned to a hunting team they were unrivaled among the young hunters. Arnfinn's mother was proud, and things were peaceful.
As Arnfinn gained more renown in his rank, and his younger brothers arrived in the pack, his mother began to worry. He knew she had been mistreated as a pup by her old pack, but had thought her to be past all of that now that she was secure in this one. However, one day Raalia came to him with a scheme. Her worry, he was heartbroken to find out, stemmed from his own success and the loss of the rest of her second litter of pups. Arnfinn attempted to assuage her worries and assure her that he would always vouch for his brothers, but she was unsatisfied.
Eventually his little brothers grew up, and while assuming their training from Raalia he found out her plans to elevate them to high-ranking roles by telling them that it was their right. The poorly chosen words of a well-meaning but too-worried mother. Arnfinn told her right then and there that it was a bad idea, and that he would not advise continuing with it. This did not go over well, however, and over the next few months Arnfinn found himself creating distance between he and his family.
He spent more time with Sirion and the young Wytt, whose training he had assumed in place of his brothers'. He and his cousins became close, and when chaos broke loose at Sorcor's invasion the trio decided to stay to help Rasp and Faleeah with their plot to undermine the invaders. Now, Arnfinn said that this was his reason for staying, but it was also due to his family's part in the invasion. Even after putting distance between himself and them, he couldn't just leave his mother, his little brothers and now young sisters, to deal with the chaos alone.
So, he and his cousins along with hunting party member, and new lead hunter, Nilou, resolved to stick around, protect the young ones who foolishly also stuck around, and cause trouble for the invaders wherever they could. For the next two years this was Arnfinn's life, and by the end of the conflict he had earned himself new accolades as a superb hunter and steward of prey in an over-hunted forest, a defender of the peace in the hollow, an accomplished spy for Faleeah and Raea, and he had patched things up with not only his mother, but also Drelas who had been Sorcor's second-in-command.
By the time the invaders were gone and the pack was whole again, Arnfinn felt he had seen enough to fill two lifetimes and now he spends his time chasing prey through the forest with his cousins and Nilou. No spying, no defending, and certainly no family drama. Just doing what he loves with those he loves.
