Axel gazed down at her newly born pups, her first litter of her entire life, since meeting Athena. It was nice, finally, to have puppies of her own with a mate she could truly find herself growing old with.

Although

It was a shame that they needed the assistance of a breeding male, but nevertheless, they were successful.

But as Axel watched her pup, Quinta, she realized just how much this little girl looked like the offspring of her and Athena.

Axel smiled, finally resting by her offspring, feeling them snuggle into the warmth of her fur. She could smell Athena nearby the den, watching out for possibly intruders.

What a wonderful pack they were going to create...
