The Wardens of the Moon move in perfect harmony as they travel alongside the moon as it moves across the sky. They are the keepers of the moon's eternal path, ensuring it turns and does not fall from the sky. The Crescent Keepers Pack, who devote themselves to their worship, see them as benevolent deities, guardians of fate and the night. However, the Wardens themselves remain neutral in all things; silent watchers who do not interfere in the mortal world unless the balance of the moon is threatened.
Their presence manifests only where the moon's light can reach. When the full moon hangs in the sky, they are at their strongest, their silver-furred bodies shimmering and their lantern glows brightest.
When the new moon rises, their power wanes. The world grows darker and their forms dim. Though they don't vanish, they just become a shadow, the brightest part of them being their lantern. Some packmembers believe that they rest during this time, while others believe they are simply watching in silence, waiting for the silver light of the moon to return to them.
