Biography
"I see the way they look at me. I know they don't love me.
My parents, the pack alpha's, have never trusted me. They always told me to stop lying, well, I never lied to them.
They never looked at me the same after my brother's death. He was the golden child, and I think I saw the light in their eyes when they found out he passed.
It wasn't my fault. I told them I took him by the creek, over the rocky mound. The one where foxes. I said he was fine.
I didn't lie. I didn't know they would find him near the plains being picked apart by hawks. I know they think it's my fault, but honestly it was that lousy pupsitter they had looking over us.
I didn't lie. I didn't lie. I did not get my brother killed." - Banshee's Brutal Whispers
"I never wanted to be a mom. My parents weren't keen on me having pups either. I knew they were looking for an heir though. After my brother's death, I knew they would never pick me.
But by the stars damn me, I will never let that go. So I set out alone to look for someone to provide me with puppies. I found a male wolf, he was far from my pack–an outsider. He was perfect, and he served me well.
They didn't say anything when they found out I was carrying. Just a small congratulations. However, that changed when I brought five healthy puppies into the pack.
They seem to look highly upon Phyla. Perhaps this is unfair to my other puppies, but it puts her in a good position to become pack leader." - Banshee's Brutal Whispers
"My Daughter Aphrodite has grown quite a bit. She seems displeased by her grandparents, and the packs, lack of attention to her. She always has been self absorbed.
I saw her this morning check out the back exit to the camp. She had recently claimed she would leave the pack; go somewhere else where the wolves would appreciate her beauty and talents. I did not discourage her. She is almost grown.
She left later that day. I could have stopped her, but I didn't. There was no point, she would leave anyway when her apprenticeship was up.
When my parents asked where she went, I said I didn't know. I said she left my immediate care and was no longer my responsibility to look after. They seemed…disappointed in my response.
It doesn't matter. They would never trust what I said anyway." - Banshee's Brutal Whispers
