Sheer Cliffs Pack
Slate never really got along well with other wolves his age. He took after his mother, Thunder, who was known in the pack for being a bit on the cold side, and only really cared for her and his two sisters, as their father was unknown - Thunder always claimed it was Stag, but the pups never looked like him.
Once Slate's sisters were sent to live in another pack as part of an "alliance trade" the young wolf became even more hostile to his packmates. The pack was becoming larger, trying to find it's footing, and Slate wasn't happy, as he and a few other young males had been passed over for a high-ranked position.
The young male made it very apparent he was unhappy - he would snap at the the wolves that his sisters had been "traded" for, the wolves he had been passed over in position for, and eventually, began trying to lead a rebellion with the other two males, Leaf and Rowan. His goal was to, ultimately, lead the pack, or destroy it in the process.
However, the other two still had loyalty to their birth pack, and Slate was soon discovered. As he was still young, it was decided to simply send him away, in hopes that he would be of no more trouble to the Sheer Cliffs Pack...
