Fallow

Fallow is a capable wolf, despite her young age, and has shown her resilience to change again and again. It was this that drew Phantom to her, and her to him, and she asked him to sire her first litter. It was a whopping litter of FIVE, unexpected by both first-time parents, and Fallow naturally fell into the role of Pupsitter in the small pack. Now, she happily continues watching over the pups, and adolescents, and has accepted this is her calling.

Fallow, who birthed Phantom's first litter of pups and the second ever litter of the pack, is the Head Pupsitter at a little over a year and a half old. While her own pups are always her priority, she cares for all of them equally, with a specialty in the orphaned littles. Her capable personality helps her keep everyone in line and every activity organized, from mentor lessons to adolescent field trips. She coordinates frequently with Fate when sending pups off to hunt, and with Phantom when tracking down Scouts.

Fallow and Fate are often in conversation lately about their dear Phantom, who they worry about daily. Fallow's job as pupsitter keeps her close to camp, where she keeps an eye on Phantom when he visits, and she coordinates with Fate, whose job as hunter means she is more likely to run into Phantom when he is out and about. Fallow is preparing to stage an intervention if she sees Phantom nearly topple over one more time...but for now she is trying to respect his decisions and understand that he feels the need to provide for everyone.

Fallow is a capable, experienced pupsitter who has watched the two remaining pups of her first litter grow strong and skilled under the pack's watchful gaze. She has remained close to Phantom, though there are no developed romantic feelings between the two, and is one of the few who seems to innately know where he will be at any given time. She also is unafraid to pin him down and demand that he rest, so she often lets the other pupsitters take point as she goes to hunt him down. It helps put her and his other friends at ease to have updates on him.

Fallow is currently raising her second litter in the pack, and though she is not sure where they will end up, she is giving them all the patience, love, and training that she gave to her first litter. She is immensely proud of Ember for her growth, and is delighted at the fact she will soon be a grandmother. She is also proud of Epiphany for improving his work ethic and contributing more on hunts. And of course, she is delighted to see Phantom back among the pack, frequently seeking out his company and offering her shoulder for him to lean on.
