Darinium is a calm wolf who is known to express his opinions, often contradictive and negative. He does not get along with many of his pack mates or even his hunting party, preferring elder members if the pack than the ones his age. He has a special quiet place under an old oak in the pack's territory, and will become hostile if anyone approaches it, except for Kalikutan, as she has raised him since adolescence and has only shown him kindness.
