The name Maculata is a piece of the scientific name cicuta maculata, also known as the spotted water hemlock. It is considered to be one of the most poisonous plants in North America. Maculata was mostly given this name due to her coat color, but she lives up to her name by being rather knowledgeable when it comes to medicinal herbs. As such, she has become the herbalist for the pack and spends her days foraging, whipping up medicines and nagging her fellow pack members about the importance of their health.
