SPRING of Year 2:
We've been blessed with many pups, successful hunts and dens well-hidden this year.
I observe through Kibas insecurities, how he truely feels about another hunting division providing for our Pack. Deep down I know he worries over Sly, and the apprentices that may soon take his place. But each wolf whom earns their keep young, will be allowed to rest when their bodies may no longer carry them - and I hope Sly will approach me when his time is near.
Before we rest, I wish that we move North, in search of larger prey as their young begin to mature. I request of Bear that he scouts ahead before we consider; he blesses me with knowledge from beyond our borders.
