Ondina's life started out perfect, more than perfect in fact. Her mother, a small grey wolf and her father, a muscly, black, friendly giant loved her greatly and she would always run and play with the other pups in the pack as well as her sister, Freja.
However, nothing lasts. One evening after dancing around the campfire, Ondina's sister, Freja went missing. It was a dark, gloomy night and the mist made it impossible to see more than 3 meters infront. The entire pack spent the next 5 days looking for little Freja but they turned up nothing... Until Mikey (the scout of the pack) found the scent of Freja and he worked together with the hunters to track it down. It lead them a cave that was yet to be explored by the pack but Ondina's father was brave and mighty and he volunteered to search the cave.
Before heading inside, he kissed Ondina on the head and looked into her eyes - he looked scared but he would never admit it. Then he turned, took a deep breath, looked back at his wife and child and then started walking towards the mysterious cave.
Ondina trembled as she watched her father walk into the unknown. She was petrified of what might be lurking in the cave.
Hours passed and there was no sign of Ondina's father. But then, a dark figure starting running towards them from inside the cave.
