Abandoned by his mother during a particularly bad winter, it is a wonder that Adam is alive today. A sweet but sensitive soul with a dutiful mindset, Adam spent his days wandering and looking for a possible pack to take him in.
He had taught himself all he could, having to learn how to survive the harsh nights and cold winds. Eventually a pair of young males had accepted him, but once again Adam lost his family when a cave in broke his leg. The pair decided they couldn't afford an injured wolf with all the hungry coyotes and timber wolves threatening them everyday.
Adam was alone, wondering if he was ever meant to find a family, until one faithful day. While practicing putting weight on his recently somewhat healed leg, Adam ran across a wolf of brown, black and white. She introduced herself as Astrid, heavily expecting pups. Adam, of course, was concerned about the wellbeing of newborns, having known how hard it could be for them, and asked if he could stay. Astrid regarded him warily, having a strong mothers protection, but eventually relented.
Adam stayed with Astrid as her pups were born, two healthy children. Of course, Astrid couldn't afford to spend all her time with them, being the pack leader, so Adam often fathered and babysat the pups while she was away. He didn't want these pups to grow up without a constant figure in their life.
Eventually, Astrid appointed him the official pupsitter of all children in her pack. After years of being alone, Adam had found his place.
