Today, Mark of Despair was officially posted to the title of Beta. From Today on, he will essentially be Calling Dawn's right paw wolf, acting as a deputy and sorting daily pack matters. Despite being a wolf not hailing from any known pack, he is a popular choice. His mate, Summoning Storms, was previously believed to be the best choice as a next leader, before he joined the pack. But the two seem deeply in love and Summon Storms seems to prefer that her mate become leader.

6th Moon, 12th Day
Sweet Song was asked to step down as a hunter after she was reportedly arguing incessantly arguing with Mantis Fang on hunts. Obviously, this affected their efficiency. Mark of Despair was angry and quite harsh with her, and initially recommend to Calling Dawn that she be removed as a hunter entirely, which he agreed to, although he would like to try and see if she would fit a different role or party entirely.

6th Moon, 13th Day
Blizzard Strayer seems to be at odds with his mother, Fall of Snow, and his brother, Chasing Snow. Fall of Snow reported this to Mark of Despair, stating she is aware of her own faults, but that she would like assistance evaluating how they can improve efficiency, since all three of them are on the same hunting party. They are our most efficient hunters, so they are not Mark of Despair's top priority, but he has promised to look into it.

6th Moon, 16th Day
Summoning Storms and Sweet Song both gave birth today. Sweet Song was blessed with 4 pups and Summong Storms the Same. Summong Storms litter is entirely healthy. Sweet Song had a runt, who she named Fall, as well as a large puppy who she calls Flower. Sweet Song does not seem interested in Fall, although she lets her nurse.

6th Moon, 17th Day
Sharp Eagle's Beak gave birth to a healthy litter of puppies. Herbalist Dark Cedar, who also happens to be their father, was please to announce all of the puppies were normal and showed no abnormalities.
