New Puppy caught sight of a bushy gray tail darting under a bush and acted quickly under Teilgean's watchful gaze. He only managed to catch a clump of gray fur from the squirrel, but his speed was improving!
Today, Corcra put a toy near a guarding adult packmate. New Puppy was required to ambush the wolf using the den's familiar terrain with only a few suggestions from Corcra - an important lesson to take advantage of the surrounding land and what it has to offer.
Dúchais and his littermate practised their howling techniques together, despite complaints of the adults who couldn't sleep in peace.
