caels never thought that could be possible, until he witnessed it himself.

they had spent an entire lifetime together, caels left his home to be with moonbow. he would never forget that night- the night they met. drenched in moonlight, pelts damp with sea-water. it was truly love at first sight.

and now his love was gone. it was not fair- why had caels remained ageless as his love grew old and weak? it was a wretched feeling. perhaps growing up in waking world had altered moonbows biology, but it honestly doesn't matter why it happened. because it's too late to fix it.

caels seldom returns to the dreamlands now, there is no point. perhaps the longer he stays in the waking world, maybe it will start to age him as well.
