The Lost One

She is the Lost One.

Well over a hundred years ago, there was a stunning merle and brass lass. A young scout to a neighboring pack. Many members of Soul Shadows would come across her with a bright smile but thought nothing more of the wolf and her real name never remembered. However some time had passed and no one had seen or heard from their cheery adventurer. After about two weeks of her absence, Savage sought out the scout's pack. Sadly, they had not heard from her either. Both packs searched for her for a very long time with no luck. As time went on, the wolves stopped looking. Soon rumors spread and eventually she became a story of caution to mischievous pups.

One day, a scout of our own was patrolling the desert landscape when he stumbled across a brightly colored furry rock. Upon a closer look, he found that it was actually an unconscious sandy she-wolf with blues and purples draped across her body. The scout moved quickly, bringing her to Alistair. With great care, the herbalist was able to save the she-wolf though she could not cure what cause the wolf's appearance to change. Soon the wolf awoke only three days later, causing all those around her to step back. Her eyes? Where were her eyes? They were nothing but a glowing blue void. She shook as if awaking from a long nap, stretching upward. She looked around, and then to Rögane. "Am I home again? The world is bright again and full of color." Her voice heavy with an accent lost years ago. "What do you mean?" Rögane questioned her. "Who are you and why are you blue?" "Well I'm-..." The She-Wolf cut herself off, tilting her head down in thought. "I'm not sure who I am to be honest. I haven't used my name in so long." She looks back up at the wolves around her and begins to explain what she can.

She recalls exploring one day and laying down to rest under an old oak tree. She remembers the day so vividly as it was the last time she saw anything in normal colors, everything replaced in hues of blue. She tells them that for a what seemed like 5 lifetimes, she ventured a world much like ours but it was always night and the animals didn't look quite right. That as time went on in this world, she began to change and memories of her old life began to fade. Oddly enough, during all that time, she never slept, she never felt tired. That is, until three days ago. Three days ago she slept for the 1st time in one-hundred years, awaking back in the normal plane. After hearing her tale, and much convincing from Alistair that the she-wolf was not ill in the head, Rögane accepted the she-wolf as she was, allowing her to stay in the pack. As the she-wolf began to settle in, pups raced up to her, asking if she was The Lost One. Confused, she looked up at the sitter following them. It was hard to hear the story of the lost scout as the story resonated deep within the she-wolf, realizing it was her, she was The Lost One. In time she did grow accustomed to the day to day lives in the pack, growing closer and more accepted by those around her. Soon she had pups of her own and began to tell her story not as one of caution but of one of great adventure, her tale of the Dreamlands.





Background to her lore. She is a chased nbw I found. She is very beautiful and the only thing I change is opacities and her base. Lunar Events were still relatively new and so I thought I would be a very cool concept to say that one day she was lost to the game (chased) during this time she was lost and exploring the Dreamlands. Eventually she found her way back to the game (I found and befriended her) and this was my cool way of explaining to my pack why she has odd markings and eyes.
