Knife is usually snappy and barbaric in most situations but sometimes you just gotta get to his good side... If he was more open that is, he's commonly alone all the time with his scouting assignments - apart from meeting his lover by the borders.

If you saw his good side, however, he's soft, sincere, and a hard-working fellow that wants what's best for the clan and him to live, as well as making up for his lover's stupid, manipulating tactics that Knife always be forgiven by her.

They met each other in the trading center when Microphone needed some new wolves for her scouting team and welcomed them in separately, when in contact they were a bit unsure of each other at first but they do have a one-on-one friendship time.

In Scouting missions, when they are finished and all ready to go they meet each other at the borders of their scouting area and they hunt for a while before going back to the pack, they call it their "Scout dates" and Knife enjoys it as much as Pencil.

Unfortunately, when their leader, Microphone, has an illness, Pencil was picked to be the Herbalist and the two was heartbroken but whenever Knife gets back from his scouting missions, He immediately goes to Pencil in the herbalist Den and talks to her.

When Pencil is pregnant with Knife's pups, Pencil takes a break from being a herbalist and went to the nursery. Knife talks to Pen about resigning his scouting role and getting to be a pup sitter if his pups arrive, Pen thinks for a day and he said yes. Knife would go to the nursery and lay beside Pencil's side, making sure she is fine and healthy and Pencil is eternally grateful for having a caring, loving husband like Knife.

They both met when Pen suspected Knife of stealing food but Microphone said that he and Pencil were the new wolves of the pack as a scouting team, Pen apologizes and Knife would forgive him then.

Knife always feels a strange atmosphere whenever Pen is with him, hunting, sorting out the prey, and even Pupsitting, Knife always felt like something was wrong with Pen but he didn't want to interfere because Pen likes to boast about his position as the Deputy and Microphone's Mate.

Knife and Pencil's hangouts throughout their scouting expeditions made Pen unsure if they were even scouting the areas and just hunting around and having some fun with each other, Microphone suggests that they are doing their jobs and they always stock up the prey pile.

When Microphone fell ill, Pen made Pencil the herbalist, making Knife and Pencil heartbroken (as they can't meet each other anymore), When Pencil goes to the herbalist's den and tries to help Microphone, Knife wanted to talk to her but Pen growled him away.

When Pencil was pregnant and gave birth to four pups: Cheesy, OJ, Pepper, and Tissues, Knife was happy and excited to raise them, but... Microphone and Pen disagreed with this surprise and unfortunately one by one... Knife and Pencil's pups were shredded and unfortunately Pepper, OJ, and Tissues didn't make it, Pen and Microphone didn't feel any guilt in killing the pups, this was for the sake of overpopulation.

Knife and Pencil were mourning their three pups and Knife growled in a rage and attacked Pen while Pencil jabbed Microphone with a sharp object right in her right eye, resulting in blood spills and Pencil and Knife not trusting Pen and Microphone anymore with their remaining Pup: Cheesy.

Whenever Cheesy was even around Pen and Microphone, Pencil usually picks up Cheesy and Knife growls at them, telling them to never come around their son ever again.

Cheesy

Cheesy is Knife and Pencil's surviving pup, the two are also scouts, Knife mentors Cheesy about physical stuff and let him learn some new things by himself. When it comes to scouting Cheesy is mostly clumsy and sometimes comes in injured whenever Cheesy comes back to the pack. Knife knows what's best for him, even though some of the choices he makes don't sound good.

When Cheesy wanted to be Mates with Taco (I.I) and is expecting pups, Pencil and Knife accept their marriage, even though Pencil and Knife do know that Taco (I.I) is the daughter of Microphone and Pen, but they're all fine with it. Pencil is even excited to see her first grand puppies, and so is Knife.
