My first T* wolf! I plan to use my immortal slot to make sure I never loose this gal, she means too much to me. Hopefully I can get a few good pups out of her.

The delicate woven flowers sitting atop her crown, Bark'Pool gazed across the den, content. She felt many watching her; Though she cherished the attention. The array of teals, greens and browns had made her a instant favorite to Dionysus. The strange-named Alpha immediately made her a Beta despite her inexperience. The young-blooded Queen regained over the pack with an iron paw despite most of them being older than herself. Her presence simply demanded respect.
She cast a glance to her right, feeling a pair of beady amber eyes staring at her flank. Amber and green clashed, and at once the former Beta looked away, distain in his eyes. A smug smirk flashed across her maw. Good. He knew his place.
'I promise you immortality, my darling~' The words rang through her thoughts. The Alpha meant to ensure that after she had her time bearing what pups she could, Bark'Pool would be made into a Divine Spirit. She'd walk among the pack as their Queen for centuries after Dionysus had passed. No matter how much Gray'Strike disliked her, she was not going anywhere. Once she reached seven years and five months, she would know nothing of death.

"Alpha?! What-" Betrayal stung the beauty's heart as she looked onto the blue-tinted wolf. He stood over a scrap of tawny fur.
"Hm..?" The canine in question looked up, realization flickering across his crazed yellow eyes. "Oh! Bark'Pool, my sweet, I'm sorry you have to see this. But 'Alpine'Pup' was simply not valuable to me." He explained brazenly, trotting to the entrance of the cave and sticking his head out. Checking for other witnesses no doubt.
The Beta shook with unease. The Alpha had chased her pup? For not being valuable? What sort of practice was that? Was she next? Questions rolled through her mind, and as Dionysus turned back, he must've seen her worry.
"I would never run you off, my dear. Far too precious. Yet.. Your pup was not. I can only expend prey and resources on those who can return the favor." He held amusement in his tone, and the female calmed slightly. It was for the health of the pack, then? Surely it couldn't be that bad of a notion if it was meant to help them. It was common, even, and she simply hadn't noticed. Though another question arose, making it's way from her maw.
"What of my other pups, Alpha?" At once the mad wolf seemed delighted. She hadn't pushed him on the subject or tried to tell him he was in the wrong- What a good choice of Beta indeed.
"The two you have not yet named will be given to our neighboring packs to help keep the peace.. Moss'Pup will be given to the Enclave." Relief flooded her. She'd be able to keep one of her pups until Mother Bear took it- Then it would have a good home. After all, this was just life.
Right?
