He didn't mean to wander so far. Lumi had been on a routine border patrol, checking the boundaries of his home pack's territory for any breaches, when his work was interrupted by a floating blue light. The wisp was like nothing Lumi had ever seen, and with how it danced circles around the young wolf, it seemed equally as enthralled with him, too. It looped him a few times, before drifting just out of reach. As Lumi stepped towards it, it drifted a little further away, and soon enough, he was in a sprint. He didn't know how long he chased it for, down the mountains and across the plains. Entering the great, looming canopy of the eastern forests, he was slowed somewhat as he struggled to keep pace with the wisp amongst the undergrowth. Eventually he lost sight of the light altogether.

Alone for what seemed to be the first time in a long while, Lumi paused, taking stock of his surroundings. He didn't have a clue where he was. The dark forest was as unfamiliar to him as the wisp. The pack who's territory he found himself in weren't hostile, at the very least. Indeed, they seemed rather understanding of Lumi's predicament. The elderly leader welcomed him in, offering him food and shelter. As confused as he was, Lumi was eager to make a good impression, and he was quick to introduce himself to the pack and make conversation.

None of the wolves here seemed familiar with Lumi's small, newly established pack. For most of them, that was that. They lost interest in his tale and moved on with their work. The pack's scout, however, seemed to take pity on him. Teyrnon invited Lumi to join him on his scouting missions, in the hope that they might be able to find his pack, or otherwise find out more about it. Greatful for his help, Lumi took him up on his offer. He remained with the pack for over a year, and though he learned little of his elusive home pack, he learned a great deal about safe navigation and life on the road from Teyrnon. The two proved to be rather like-minded, and grew to be close over their travels.

The arrival of fall brought a familiar visitor in the form of a small, blue wisp. For days Lumi tried to ignore it as it flickered on the fringes of his vision, dancing in and out of the distant treeline. Soon enough though, just as before, he was overcome by it's lure, and with a hurried farewell to the pack he swiftly tailed it out of the valley.

Lore: Lumi had approached the edge of Moon Pack ☾ territory, spelling their scents, he was about to run off, as he didn't want to cause much trouble, when he heard a small bark. There stood the pack alpha, Lightning Strike ☾. He looked quite welcoming and sniffed and checked out Lumi, telling him he can stay, and make friends with his pack.
