the former head hunter of her old pack Birch formerly known as Artemis never actually liked her job. from a young age she had been groomed to perfection to be her pack's next lead hunter and eventually leader in general. as soon as she could leave her mother she began going on long hunting expeditions with her pack, she ended up blocking out her emotions and connections. Artemis was cold and calculating a pure blood hunter, including other wolves. eventually on one of her missions she met a male she was supposed to kill but she couldn't bring herself to do it. she fell in love and became pregnant with his pups then her pack found out. their perfect huntress a disgrace to their very name. they killed her mate and forced her out. abandoning the name they had given her Artemis became Birch for the colour of her coat.
