Aoibheann was born in the Spring, during a rainstorm, after a labor that had the whole pack anxious. Both Aoibheann and Clodagh were the leaders' first litter, and it was hard to be patient as the parents waited to meet their children. Once the sisters arrived, everyone could finally breathe. The two were very easy pups, but a bit difficult as adolescences. Clodagh was always off exploring while Aoibheann was more content to sit and watch the pack silently. She gets overwhelmed quickly, and is often hiding away with her mother- who she is closest with.
Aoibheann's relationship with her father is complicated- but neither party is at fault. Pothos' need to lead the pack with a paws-on-approach left very little time for him to bond with his reserved daughter. Clodagh- the opposite- spent a lot of time with their father due to her own push to get to know him. Pothos loves both his children, but Aoibheann finds herself quicker to snap at the elder. It is frustrating, as neither of them want that reality, but Pothos is only getting older and getting less time to correct the past.
She would go on to later meet and fall in love with a she-wolf named Evelyn. Despite the few years that Evelyn had on her, Aoibheann was star-struck with her, and they two became a pair not too long after getting to know each other. The two adopted Eimear after Evelyn brought her back from a scouting mission, and raised her to adulthood. Tragedy struck when Evelyn left for a regular scouting mission only to not return when she was expected to. Her body was found, clearly attacked by a band of coyotes, on the edge of their territory.
Aoibheann and Eimear were devastated by the news, and were the two wolves who chose her resting spot, and stood vigil for her the whole night. Aoibheann swears she can still sometimes hear her soft, sweet humming while she drifts off to sleep.
Aoibheann's role in the pack is as a pupsitter, and she is happy to do it. She loves all things pup-related, and greets every new puppy with a smile and a wagging tail.
