~A traveling wolf appears!~

Kiara is a traveling pup! She's chosen an adventurous lifestyle, seeing the world and never spending more than a few moons with any pack. For more info, here are links to the Travelers' Haven, a secluded oasis where traveling wolves can rest and swap tales of their travels.

In short, please DON'T change her name, remove her decor, or keep her for more than a week before gifting her to someone else. Please DO add decor and/or write in her bio about her time with your pack. When she reaches five years old, return her to her home pack, Light of the Dawn Star.

Kiara leaped into the air full of joy and adventure only to land in a pool of mud. "Eww." She scrambled out of it and wandered to a deep patch of the frosty forest. She wiped her paws in the snow before realizing the wolf on a rock. He was large unusual for a wolf, but slender and thin. His eyes were unseen from under the shade of a boreal tree. "Exscuse me, do you know where the next pack is at? My paws are weary and I need good." She waited for an answer. He leaped off of the rock and landed in front of her. Yelping she too skittered back. "Young one, you are in the midst of the pack of Silence." His eyes were pure red hard to see under his fur but when visable terrifyingly calm.
For a couple days she stayed with the pack of Silence. Although she had been told to steer clear of them, she walked into the heart of the territory. They had a den and food waiting for travelers. She stayed for a day before taking off on another adventure.

For three months Kiara stayed at a little alcove in the mountains. She dared not call it a pack, for there were no hunters, and no pupsitters, just an Alpha and a Beta and a huddle of grey, half-hungry wolves who would not tell her their names. Two other travellers stayed here - Hayasaka and Sorrowful. They were hungry too. Then all three of them were put in a raffle by the alpha. Was it even legal to put her in a raffle, thought Kiara. And why? She wasn't sure. Perhaps it was because they had no hunters or pupsitters.

Thankfully the leader of a renowned pack saw the raffle immediately, alerted their clan, and the clan bought enough tickets to end the raffle very soon after it started. Kiara caught fleas briefly but that's a small price for freedom.

Then due to bureaucratic failures they didn't manage to find a safe pack to pass her to for like a week longer than intended AHHHHHHHHH

Kiara's journey was only plagued with more misfortune since leaving the prior host pack. Upon arriving at Triskele Cove violent storms struck the little bay that made up the pack's territory. It lasted for weeks on end and left them all miserable and huddling together for warmth as they waited out the thundering skies. She was left stranded with them as the weather conditions were far too extreme for her to safely move on to the next pack in a timely manner. Looks like she chose a poor time to visit. Oh well. At least the stories shared through chattering teeth and the dried strips of fish eaten together were enjoyable. Not enjoyable enough to kill her wanderlust however. She's more than ready to go.
