In the lesson today, Birch and Micah learned how strategy can be useful when hunting in a group and trying to chase a big prey animal like Creek pretended to be. With group coordination and a perfectly timed call, Micah was able to tackle the pretend-elk to the ground.
Finally, after many trials and failed attempts that made other pups burst with laughter, Micah let out a proper, long howl! Still somewhat high-pitched, but it couldn't be mistaken for anything else other than a growing, strong wolf.
Micah learned that not only the ingredients but also the proportions can change a cure into a poison. He felt a lot more responsible after this lesson.
