Etana

Alpha Etana, though a very average looking wolf, is the alpha of the Ethereal Shadows Pack. Not because her pack mates owed her a debt, not because she's strong or fast, and not because she's a particular special wolf.

The type of respect the pack has for Etana is a respect one has for a mother figure. She leads her pack, her family, with confidence that feeds everyone else. She is aware of her flaws and with the help of her pack the things she lack can be filled in by someone else. Though she is very welcoming to those who need a home she is the most protective of the ones she claims as hers. Nothing will be messing that up, for as long as she lives.

Alpha Etana is not a special wolf in the grand scheme of things, she's very much aware of that, but from the love and respect her pack gives her and each other it really has her feeling like she's the luckiest and most special wolf in the world.
