Shoto

Shoto learned how to use the environment to his advantage, to successfully muffle all the sounds he made. Shoto and his littermates were stalking each other, changing their roles from time to time.

Today, Endeavor invented several poses and expressions and Shoto had to guess what they meant. He struggled on some of them, but by the end he had gotten better and Endeavor was impressed with how quickly he learned.

Of course add lore, and decor he is out to encounter the challenges of the world and wrestle with his forsaken past. His father had always wanted him to grow up and be the strongest there was, but Shoto was a calm and peaceful wolf only fighting when he needed to. After deciding that he was to move he woke up one morning and set off on a quiet path seeking sanctuary.
His abilities were unique and unseen before. He was able to manipulate ice and fire though he mainly used his ice.

After a few sun's of travel he was found by a female wolf who introduced herself as Sydel. She listened to his story and offered him sanctuary with her pack. Upon arriving he was greeted by many friendly wolves. This pack was different than his, their affection given freely and kindness being the pack's highest virtue! Their young Healer-in-training, Harris, was a quick friend to Shoto. "Fighting isn't the only way, Shoto. Caring and healing are just as important to the world. More so now that there are fewer in the world that do care." Harris told him one day. Shoto tried to imagine a world like this, with more souls that cared than there were those that hurt. He couldn't see it, but maybe he hadn't seen enough of the world to really learn yet. And so with a new world view to find he set out again after a few days, wishing this kind pack a goodbye as he trotted off into the forest. Harris caught up to him carrying a pendant and throwing it over to Shoto, "Don't forget what I told you! Kindness and healing are essential Shoto." Shoto smiled and nodded then turned and ran towards to rising sun.

Lore: As The sun started to rise he came across a wolf by the name of Aurora an extremely cheerful yearling. "Hello Stranger, " She said happily. "What brings you to my packs territory?"
"I'm just looking for a place to stay for a few days." Shoto replied.
"I would be happy to take you to my alpha if you'd like." She says smiling. "Yes please." Shoto nodded, a stabbing hunger in his belly.
"Come on then!" She says cheerfully. "Follow me." They walked for a little bit then came into a beautiful ancient clearing. He wandered with the jolly young wolf, into the clearing and over to what looked like were the pups. "Play Aurora! Aurora!" They called running over.
"Hey you guys!" She patted a pup on the head.
"Aurora who's your friend?" A young black and white eyed she-pup with marks of blue asked. "This is...I'm sorry I didn't get you name."
"It's fine my name is Shoto Todoroki." He answers.
"Shoto can you stay and play with us?"
"I have some spare time why not?" The puppys cheered. Aurora smiled. "I've got to get back to my job, my alpha will come and see you later-"
"I'm here." A wolf stalked over. "Sorry alpha." He says submitting. "Your fine your not the first traveler we have had in our pack your welcome to stay for a few days if you would like."
"Please mama please!" Khione whined. "We'll I don't think you'll be able to leave now." She says purring. "Your welcome to help with the pup sitters."
"I'd loved to." He answered. She half smiled, before walking back to the leaders den. "Come on Shoto says lets play a game!"
"Alright, alright lets go young ones." Shoto nods towards the field were other pups were romping around.
"Yay!" They shout, excited to start playing with him.

Lore: Shoto made his way through the forests. He was walking by when he spotted a white wolf exploring.
She noticed him and introduced herself as River. She took him to her pack and he stayed there for a few days pupsitting. He soon decided that he had stayed long enough and went his own way.

They stumbled across Silver Moon pack made friends with a few of their pup sitters he spent some time training up pups for them happy to help others for the food and safety they provide. Over a few days he decided to head on out.

Lore: Shoto minded his own business as he wandered around. That was until he saw a wolf sitting on top of a rock. They were facing away from him, presumably watching the area. So Shoto decided to meet them. Walking up to the wolf, he greeted them with a quick "Hello!" The poor scout jolted up with a yelp. As they lost their footing, they fell off the rock and into a patch of stinging nettle. A harsh thud echoed into the expanse. Shoto rushed over to help the wolf. After the scout got out somewhat unharmed, he would apologize for scaring them. They accepted his apology and anxiously told Shoto their name was Rowan. The two had a brief chat before Shoto followed Rowan to the Daylight Sun. He stayed there for a while, the frigid weather not bothering him as winter approached. Waking up one day, though, Shoto got up and watched the sun barely make its way above the horizon, and that's when he knew it was time to go.

Lore: Shoto came across a fighting ring where youths sparred against each other under the watchful eyes of their elders. It brought back unpleasant memories of home and of his father who wanted him to be a fighter. Shoto quickly slipped away before he was noticed.

Lore: While passing through the Court for a quick visit, Shoto noticed a visiting wolf, busy negotiating the purchase of some medicines with the herbalist Daxis. The poor wolf seemed to need a lot of cures, but he had very few items to use to pay for them. After asking Daxis if he would accept some acorns in exchange for the medicines, Shoto started scouting the surroundings together with the visiting wolf and, after a couple of hours, they managed to come back with a big pile of acorns.
The visiting wolf was able to buy all the cures he needed, and Shoto got to keep some of the extra acorns.

Shoto was glad by the time he decided to rest, it wasn't too far from the last place he left in the tundra. Arriving in the taiga, he was still holding on to many items he'd collected overtime, in hopes they might come in handy somehow. While he found himself a comfortable spot to rest among a small crater in the grass, he was interrupted by the sound of paws trotting along past him swiftly. It took a moment for his eyes to focus and catch sight of whatever ran past him, when he noticed the mossy and lichen coloured wolf stop suddenly behind an old stump. Letting his curiosity get the better of him, Shoto walked up behind the wolf, stepping on a twig before he could speak. Foliose [link] swiftly leapt and hid behind the stump, ultimately spooking the buck he was going after. "Oh! goodness, I didn't realize you were hunting.." Shoto spoke as Foliose lifted his head to peak over to see the stranger. He shook his fur, and chuckled. "Hah! Well.. you didn't scare it on purpose. Are you a traveler?" Foliose asked, observing the red wolf in front of him. "I am, I don't suppose I could join you to rest at your pack for a few days.." he said, feeling a bit guilty. "Well, why don't you make it up to me than. Come traveler, you can help me track down that buck again!" Foliose said as he ran off, with Shoto agreeing and following close behind. The two wolves managed to successfully track down the buck, and arrived back home with plenty of food to feed everyone. Shoto stayed for a few days, and left a small gift of some acorns for his prior accident with Foliose.

Lore: Shoto came again to the territory of the warlike wolves he had encountered earlier. Determined to avoid confrontation, he attempted to skirt around their territory, but he found himself attacked by three snarling adolescents. "Fight us!" they growled. He attempted to freeze them with his ice so he could flee, but they broke free, and one of them raked him across the face with her claws before he made good his escape.

Lore: After his encounter with the last wolves he met, he was more than a little wary of introducing himself to the next group he saw...even with the fact that the adols in this little group found themselves rolling down a muddy hill...much to both his and the two adult's entertainment. One of the mud-covered youths -a little rust colored female, with odd nearly pupil-less blue eyes- happily bound up to him, and talked his ear off while inviting him to join in. And while he softly declined the silly pup's invite, one of the adults padded over to invite him for a safe place to stay among their pack's other wandering travelers! Being with other Travelers made his stay much less nerve wracking, and he found himself greatly enjoying his time with this large, friendly pack. One of the other lunar-touched even gave him some glowing marks around his eyes, and he felt himself more complete to have a matching glow to compliment his tail and necklace. Soon though, he felt ready enough to maybe head home...permanently or not, he hasn't decided yet...but he was a wee bit homesick after so many odd travelings, so he bid a bittersweet goodbye to the Rockford pack, and thanked them for their hosting him and giving him such a calming reprieve for a while. ♥
