Story

 Joined the pack one day like many other adolescents and pups do, the (now previous) pack leader saw something inexplicable on him, and as his very last seasons were quickly approaching he took him under his wing.
 Things were normal, as he grew he quickly demonstrated to have formidable sparring skills and a natural leadership instinct, like one would expect from a future pack leader. He was naturally liked by the rest of the pack, he acted like he was Dyst's own offspring, and many great things were expected of him. When Dyst was busy he accompanied the Scouts in their tasks, and as he grew into his adult shape, he developed a front-heavy form: big frontal legs and paws, heavy head, and a thickly furred neck. His voice is as deep as one would expect from his wide chest, his howls identifiable by this sole feature.

 As old Dyst counted his last days, something in the young wolf changed. He slowly became standoffish, quiet, wandered on his own for long periods of time, and doubt was planted into the rest of the pack. The old pack leader was wise, no one wanted to question his decisions after a lifetime of a very successful leadership, but some argued that age can get the better of any wolf, and as great as he was, he was also subject to the relentless deteriorating time has on any living creature.
 As this uneasiness spread through the pack and peaked, Dyst passed away the same day Atter turned one year old. This was considered a terrible omen by the most superstitious pack members, but at this point no one dared to confront Atter, any wolf with a slice of survival instinct could tell by his size that he could overpower anyone, his searing gaze being enough to silence any thoughts of rebellion. However, he never showed any interest in fighting anyone, in fact he never showed any aggression at all, he just wears an expression akin to being deeply in thought, and his intimidating form wherever he goes.
 After Dyst's death, not much else changed. The pack adapted to his lack of presence, and continued with their usual routines. He only shows up when hes needed, only is seen when someone specifically looks for him, trades a few words and commands, and disappears again.

 Due to his sudden personality change and quiet demeanor, no one really knows much about him. Some say his distinguishing silhouette can be seen when the weather is foggy and overcast, wandering the territory and beyond. He wears a coin necklace around his neck - the price of passage, is all he says, and a silver sleigh bell as oddly off-puttingly quiet as his footsteps. He seems to have a taste for badger meat, a very rare prey item for the pack.
