When Alloy first saw the small pup, he immediately thought of Gnome. It took him a while to realize Gnome, his best ally, was on his deathbed and ready to pass on- this shook him quite a bit. He thought of the new lead and if they would care to still be allied with his pack. As a way to calm Alloy's nerves, Tuesday licked his nose and suggested the pup would be a gift to the new lead once he was weaned, his sister staying in The Oasis and the two serving as a sort of bond between the two packs. Riled'Berries, the mother, agreed to those terms seeing how worried Alloy was, and it was settled. His sister would be named Moon, him named Sunflower, and they would, hopefully, be the bond between two packs.
