During Year 2 on July 23rd (2022) -
While out Hunting, Mossy Stones began to feel ill yet he continued and managed to capture a Bighorn Sheep but by the time he came back to camp, he felt horribly ill but unsure why.
As he looked over towards the Alphas Den he saw Elks Bugle speaking with Grizzly Pelt. His leader noticed him almost instantly and at first she looked pleased but her expression soon changed from a soft smile to worry.
He made his way over slowly, head and tail lowered respectfully but he stopped short of his leader by about a blacktail deer length and sat down, scratching behind his front elbow.
Pack law dictated that any wolf who becomes ill in anyway is to keep themselves at least a Blacktail Deer Length away from their packmates as to prevent spread of disease. And the look on his Alpha's face told him she'd remembered that law as well.
"I see..." She began before huffing. "Go see Sooty Snow, he'll know what exactly is wrong. And hopefully he'll have a cure for you. If he doesn't, you'll relocate to the Isolation Dens until you're treated."
Mossy nodded and she added, "Did you kill any prey?"
He stood up straighter and said, "Yes, a Bighorn Sheep. I put it aside from the pile; I can only hope it hasn't been affected by whatever I have."
"I'll have another packmate check over it just in case. Say hello to Sooty Snow for me."
And with that he walked away, heading off to Sooty Snow's Healer Tunnel. Hopefully, He knows what's wrong...
