Stone

Stone was a curious wolf. He enjoyed talking to many and hanging out with his sister Day . Day sat down and listened to his observations, and conversations of the pride leaving a comment here and there.

He however envied his sister on one thing. She knew what she wanted to be, and where she wanted to be. He loved his pack, but always felt restless. He loved the warmth of pupsitting, but also loved the discovery of being a herbalist. So he made a decision. The first one he told was his sister. "Hello Day, I would like to talk to you about something important" He looked certain, something rare of him. "Yes, brother what is it?" She said, a little worried as something felt off in the air.

He saw her nervousness, and his confidence faded. "I am leaving the pride to explore different roles and lands sister. I will come back when I turn 5." Day was worried. "I won't stop you as it wouldn't be fair of me, but please don't forget the dangers this brings." Stone wouldn't forget, his sister was smart and he trusted her fully. But this is what he must do. "I'll be off now sister. Tell everyone I've left for a bit but I'll come back, nothing else." Day dipped her head, pain in her eyes. "Ok brother, do your best to stay safe."

He headed off without telling anyone but his sister. He knew Day would cover for him.

Lore: The sun set quickly making Stone nervous as it became darker and colder. His paws were numb from walking all day, so he used his nose to feel the ground. He quickly shook his head when the snow touched his nose. Is he in the Glacier? He saw a blue light in the distance, and he wondered if he should check it out. After all, he decided to follow into the mysterious ways of the glacier's night. With a quick run, Stone saw the blue light was Lunar butterflies! He had heard of such beauty but never thought he could come across them. With a blue spark in his eyes, Stone had a smile from ear to ear. He tried touching a butterfly with his nose, but he didn't notice the butterfly was actually a face. "I'm so sorry! The light made your marking look like a butterfly" said Stone as Nocture lightly laughed. "It's okay, Greenie. I've never seen you around before, are you new or just lost?" She asked Stone wondering if the young male had good intentions. "Im traveling around. I wanted to explore different places. Can you tell me where I am now? I came from the Deciduous Forest" Nocture's eyes got wider as she realized how far away Stone was from his home. "This is the Glacier, Greenie. Come with me, you can stay with us while you explore around" Nocturne and Stone started heading towards her pack while they got to know each other.

Stone had enjoyed a lovely time with the last pack he had visited, and made decent friends with Nocturne and some other wolves there. And once it was time for him to go, he knew he had friends in a new place. He was now down in the taiga, exploring around and seeing what he could find. He heard a crack of a branch and quickly whipped around to see 2 wolves. The first was a young, Piebald adolecent, who looked like they couldn't be even close to a year old. The other was a black and white male with matted fur and strong legs. Stone stepped back a bit, unsure of what these wolves wanted, but he still called out to them regardless. "Um.. Hi there!" He said, checking from a distance to see if they were friendly. The piebald adolescent looked at him and a big smile came onto his face. "Hii!" He shouted back excitedly, his tail immediately beginning to wag. Stone knew from his time pupsittinf that this little one ahd to have just become an adol a few days ago.. there was no way he was over 6 & 1/2 months. Stone then looked to the older wolf behind him.. Who didn't seem too impressed, but didn't seem upset either. "Silkworm, chill out." He slightly snapped at the excited pup. "But Phantom!" The young wolf, Silkworm, began to whine. "Quiet down for a moment" The older, Phantom, chuffed. "Are we invading on your territory?" He asked. "We're scouts, from the GoldenMoon Pack, we aren't here to hunt or take territory." He said cautiously, sidestepping infront of silkworm. These wolves thought he might attack.. He immediately stepped back a few more paces. "N-no this isn't any territory!" He said quickly.. "Well i hope not.. Umm.. My name's Stone! Im Exploring the world, trying to get around, meet new wolves, and find a fufillment!" He said. Phantom seemed less tense as he spoke now. "I won't harm you or your pup." Stone said. Phantom shook his head a bit. "He's not my pup. But i wasn't worried about it anyways. You don't uh. You don't really strike much fear kiddo." He then glanced at Silkworm, who's tail was wagging a mile a minute. They stared at each other for a minute, as if communicating. Then phantom nodded his head behind him. "It's about time we're to head back. Sage loves seeing a new face, so would you like to come with?" He asked. Stone nodded "I'd love to!" He smiled, going to join the wolves. He and Silkworm talked up a storm, and Stone shared all his stories of the glacier with Silkworm. During their commute, Phantom seemed quite happy that he didn't have to deal with the young one's energy anymore. When they got to the decidous forest, the sights and smells reminded stone of what he'd left behind, but only for now. Lucky for him, this GoldenMoon Pack didn't seem to be near his old one, so he didn't have to worry about returning home yet. When they made their way into the pack clearing, SilkWorm took off to go find his friends, a group of adol's all the same age as him. Then, Stone was greeted with the sight of a ton of wolves, 25, maybe even more! And an older looking alpha female rested upon the a stone, bathing in the sun. She turned, seeing both he and phantom, and she smiled. "Phantom, who've you brought back with you?" She asked. "Sage." He said, bowing his head a bit. "This is Stone." He said, stepping back to let Stone introduce himself. Stone smiled a bit and also did a slight head bow, telling Sag of his journey, and how he'd met Phantom and Silkworm. The old wolf seemed more than delighted to talk to him, and they talked like old friends for what could've been hours. Then, as time passed and the day grew shorter and shorter, Sage led him around the dens to intorduce him to everyone. On this way arpund, Silkworm found him, and gave him a crown made of Heather, saying he didn't have to keep it, but he wanted to give it to him. After continuing on, Stone happily decided he'd try out sleeping in each den, to figure out where he felt comfortable in this new pack.
