"Legolas! What are ya starin at?" Gimli yelled to him from a large rock where he was sitting.
"Gimli, I am going to travel, I was staring at the landscape." Gimli shook his head.
"Elfs. Always watching the trees grow and the plants bloom." He spat. "I think mining would help clear your head."
"You know very well that Elfs are not cave dwellers." Legolas said turning to him.
"Legolas!" Aragorn strode over to him. "The eastern kingdoms await your arival, there are supplies waiting for you at the gate." He bowed his head. "Thank you Aragorn. I will be back, keep Gimli out of trouble." He spoke the last part in elfish. "What!? What did you say about me? I know it was about me elf-" Gimli sputtered. "Safe travels my friend." Aragorn nodded. Legolas waved to his friends, and set out on a dangerous road to deliver a message.

Lore: Legolas was relived when he found a friendly pack to stop at on his way to deliver his message. These wolves were strange to him, knowing nothing of kingdoms. He ttried his best to explain what life was like for him at home, but they struggled to understand. Figuring out that this pack must be extremely isolated and that the kingdoms must not know about it, Legolas kept his stay short. As soon as he had recovered from his travels, Legolas set off again to protect the pack and deliver his important message. He slipped out just as the sun rose, knowing the pack wouldn't be up for a little while longer. Legolas vowed not to speak of him time with the pack and traveled on to deliver his message to the eastern kingdoms.
