Lank did not start out a pack leader, no, he didn't really want to lead but him and his mate Oracle just happened to start picking up more and more wolves. Some he calls children others he calls friends.
So he found a home, a cavern spanning further than any of the pack has dared to explore yet with waterfalls that create a pool near the dens. He went even further to make sure his mate had all he needed for his passion, helping to clear out a large clearing for the herbalist to do his job.
Overall Lank is a rather awkward wolf and would much rather just amble around his home, collecting pups who follow his heels and telling story's.
