A week before her litter turned six months, Speckle received a vivid and strange vision. She had been laying upon a sunny rock, enjoying a lazy day, when it had occurred. In it she saw many branching paths, and many ways to follow down or avoid those paths. She has spoken with no-one but Stoic on the matter, and has been described as 'frazzled' and 'frightened' since this event happened. She too now speaks to the Midnight Tree, though in a way that feels different from her brother- and is often seen heading towards it in a panic after long naps.
Even grown, Speckle sees things she wishes she could unsee. Dark and dangerous things, in equal measure to the good she has foretold. So many horrid possibilities, always so hard to avoid becoming real. She keeps a record, now, a note of her Prophesies. Only Stoic and her Father are allowed to read this journal, and they both work to guide the pack through the ever-weaving web of Speckle's future sight.
