As he grew, Stoic became further entrenched in his supposed conversations with the Midnight Tree- A tree of Lunar origin that seeded itself in our realm. Others of the pack have begun to hear whispers and something akin to singing whenever Stoic is around this tree. While before, the tree was revered as a unique object within the mundane world, none truly began to feel as... almost worshipful as stoic appeared to. Near the tree his eyes flash lunar blue, his every word muffled as if pulled into the wood of the trunk.

As Whisperer of the Midnight Tree, Stoic has many duties. He speaks to the spirits within the tree, guides the souls of the dead to the Lunar Plane, bestows blessings on his fellow packmates, etc. He is steadfast in his duty and shows no signs of cracking under pressure. His golden eyes seem to take on a blue hue most of the time now, and some wonder if they will be entirely blue someday.

As the pathway to the Dreamlands opens, Stoic finds himself changing. He sees the world around him as if the waking and dream lands have merged, his body adorned with the trappings of the Lunar plane. More than ever the whispers grow stronger as he stands near the Midnight Tree. Calling to him, advising him, helping him to lead the pack towards righteousness. His father, the Pack Leader, expresses pride in his Lunar-Charged son, declaring the Pack renamed in honor of the Midnight Tree- and Whisperer Stoic exalted as a Prophet of the lands beyond.
