She couldn't remember the last time she felt the warm touch of a loving embrace. Her birth parents had abandoned her in the wild to fend for herself the moment she was weaned. She didn't understand why, but that reason didn't matter now. She had been found by a pair of wolves, one male, the other female. They called themselves Burning Night and Rising Dawn.
Rising Dawn asked her for her name, but she did not have an answer. She never received one. The two wolves looked at one another and agreed that the young pup would be named Loud Song.
"You were blessed by the Gods. You will go far, little one".

It was only a few short days before the entire pack had accepted her as one of their own. The members, cheerfully taught her all she would need to know, but the young wolf was never satisfied. She craved to know more, to know more about the world around her.
She decided she would become a traveler, going from pack to pack before returning home to share her discoveries with those who helped kickstart her thirst for knowledge.
