Ash Flutter is a quite arrogant wolf, often leading to quarrels with his fellow pack mates. Due to this, Adleste thought a scouting position fit him well. As it's a fairly important position she knew he'd eagerly accept.
Adleste met Ash when exploring in the mountains, at first he refused to accept her invitation. He was too proud to accept her help, but that changed when he found himself in a sticky situation with a hunters trap. Adleste, once again, offered assistance. This time he swallowed his pride and allowed her to help, to this day, its a secret shared between them.
