Ash

During the lesson: Ri'defa talked about the differences between hunting alone and hunting in a pack. Ash listened carefully, trying to imagine the best role for herself in a hunting squad.

During the lesson: Lavender taught the class about wind direction and scents that can reveal your position if the threat is downwind. Turns out Ash is the best at hiding if she just rolls in the dirt first!

During the lesson: Yanif stuffed herbs into his mouth and chewed them into a paste. He spit the wad into a paw and dabbed it onto a leaf, showing Ash the proper technique.

During the lesson: Ash listened carefully to Kuazera's lecture about how biting and tussling aren't allowed during teamwork. That was a bit disappointing, but Ash was ready for the hard work.

During the lesson: Lavender explained to Ash how wet fur is not a good idea, especially in the winter. She demonstrated how to find rocks and dry patches to cross a creek or a river instead of swimming across it.

During the lesson: Ash didn't have much luck at first, but soon she started to associate types of nesting materials with types of birds. Each time they appeared sooner than before.

During the lesson: Nephirim checked Ash's progress through a chasing test. Ash had to avoid being caught, which seemed completely impossible, but she wisely used all the tricks and feints to gain an advantage.
