Rosey River is a proud wolf known for her hunting expertise. Years ago, she lived with her, at the time, mate, Vivienne, on the road. One day, they found a younger wolf named Songbird after her previous pack had abandoned her, and since the two of them were loners who had originally rejected pack life, they took her in. They grew closer with the lost she-wolf, and eventually, she became a third mate to the pair. However, things did not stay perfect for long. They were discovered by a pack who claimed the lands they were living on and were forced to replace all of the prey they've 'stolen' from the pack in the last few seasons.
The pack was civil but kept Songbird as a prisoner to be sure Rosey Rivers and Vivienne did their part. Luckily, all went well for the next season as they were able to hunt ample prey to satisfy the pack. That was until a rival pack attacked in the dead of night. Thinking Songbird was the Alpha's daughter, they went for her. Both Vivienne and Rosey Rivers saw this, but Vivienne ordered Rosey to take Songbird and run.
Rosey blames herself for Vivienne's death, convinced that if she had stayed and fought with her, she might have lived.
