As one of the many heirs, Brigg had been aware since the moment he could talk that he may one day run the tribe. It was, however, never a guarantee. There were offspring from both the Emperor, and Dux who too in the running, and litters were still being born. He assumed to produce the most eligible heir, but there were litters younger than himself so he had a feeling that his chances were growing thin. A second litter was born between Vasilios and Abendrot, a year after his birth. The pup Baldr seemed intent on being the future Emperor, and even as a pup tried to turn anything into a competition with his elder brother, though Brigg tried to be indifferent. He'd just amuse the pups until his grew out of it. That's how their relationship would remain to continue as time went on.

From the mark of his first year he has served in Vix'ia's Rout as a paladin, gaining experience from the teamwork and hardship of hunting and working together. Over the moons, he grew to love his rout and the comradery it entailed, as did they love him. So when it was time to put on the crown, he was saddened to leave them, but now he has a chance to grow close with all of his tribe and gain their love. He may not be like Helios, nor Bren, or even his own father, Vasilio, but he had a feeling his reign would be different. So far he'd be the eldest to begin his reign over Sun-Bound Tribe, at (put date he became emperor).
