Onyx comes from a wolf dog breeding farm. He was badly treated there and never able to meet his parents. The night before his adoption he escaped out into the mountains behind the farm. He was still a pup then and struggled to survive. He taught himself how to hunt after closely observing the predators around him. Soon he found himself being very lonely and longing for a family. He traveled to the grasslands and found the Risk pack territory. The leader invited him to join the pack and he accepted. Onyx is one of the hunters for the pack and gets along well with all of the members especially Kela which he fell in love with. He soon figured out that Kela was bearing Tendon's pups and lost hope that they could ever be mates.
